I had porous 35 year old red clay bricks that I was able to use. After putting down the bricks on the patio I noted that they looked so great after a rain. I found this product and now the color looks great all the time. It did take twice as much as indicated to do the bricks but worth it.. Will use again.
Thanks for the great feedback! We are so glad your project turned out so well.
Very good customer service, shipped right away and received in two days. Easy to apply using the pump up sprayer and back rolling. My only complaint is the sheen which for me takes away the natural stone look.
Jeffrey, thanks for the feedback! We are always happy to help. Most people describe our STONE+ as a low gloss outcome, but it's very dependent on the type of stone, the porosity, how much sealer is applied and how much light reflects off of your surface.
We are so pleased with this product. We used it on a slate floor and old rock fireplace. Both looked very dirty and dingy before we use this product. After we use the product they came to life. They continue to have a wet look to them without being too shiny. They are both beautiful. It was very easy to use and the cleanup was also easy.
It goes on as white milky splatters. You kinda want to freak out wondering if you've made a horrible mistake. Relax...it will dry clear. It's a little more glossy than "low" gloss but its OK. I used a sprayer to apply it to a rock bed.
I purchased the product to enhance the look of stone facing on our new home, which had faded over the 20 years since it was built. The liquid is very easy to apply: in my case, I shook the container, poured some into a small bowl and used a 4" paintbrush to coat the stones. A roller would probably work fine on pavers. The product doesn't deepen the color as much as if the stone was wet, at least in this use, but it does slightly enhance the color, as well as giving porous stone some protection from the Arizona sun and occasional heavy rain. It does not make the surface look shiny or plastic-coated, which is good. I expect to have to renew the coating in a couple of years, but it was a good choice to help enhance the exterior of the house.
