Before You Start
  • Cover any areas you don’t want treated (walls, borders, etc.).
  • Only apply when temps are expected to be above 50F for at least 24 hours after application. Cooler temps = longer dry time.
  • Make sure the surface is completely dry and no rain is expected for 24 hours.
  • Use a clean sprayer for best results.
Step 1

Sweep your mulch or gravel to ensure everything is in place.

Step 2

Mix it up! Gently mix the solution by tilting the bottle up and down a few times– Don’t shake vigorously!!

Step 3

Apply 2-3 coats to dry mulch or pea gravel with a garden sprayer for even coverage. Use a fan tip spray setting for best coverage.

**Let new mulch dry before spraying- do not spray right away. New mulch is wet with moisture and colorant and will impede the performance.

**Do not flood coat. This will impede performance. It is better to apply 2-3 thinner coats rather than 1-2 flood coats.

Step 4

Let it dry completely for 24–48 hours (Dependent on specific conditions i.e., high humidity and lower temperatures increase dry time.)—rain-free time is key for best results.
