These application instructions apply to DOMINATOR Mulch Anchor.

Coverage Rate: Depends on how thick and heavy your mulch is. Refer to the chart below for details.

1. Prepare

Protect surfaces not intended to be treated. Ensure that walls, mulch borders and other surfaces are protected as needed.

Ensure proper surface temperature. Ensure ambient air temperature stays above 50°F until product is dry. If temperature falls below 50°F, curing time will increase and the performance of the product may be adversely affected.

A dry surface is necessary to ensure proper product performance. Do not apply if rain is forecasted within 24-hours.

Ensure that the sprayer is clean prior to application.

2. Test

Perform a small test area (at least 2 sq. ft.) using the product to ensure suitability and the desired results prior to full application. Use the same preparation, equipment and conditions expected during the entire application.

3. Apply

Do NOT Dilute or alter the product. Shake the container prior to use as some settling may have occurred.

Apply the number of coats as indicated in the Coverage Chart to your surface.

Misting the product or spraying from a large height, may result in uneven coverage and poor performance. When spraying, use even, broad strokes to ensure uniform coverage. Under-application will not allow the product to perform properly.

Allow sufficient dry times. Dominator Mulch Anchor requires air to dry, so we recommend waiting at least 45 minutes to 1 hour between coats.

4. Cleanup

Place any unused product back into original container to store for future use. Any mixture exposed to air will harden in the container. Clean equipment thoroughly until free of product residue using warm water and a mild detergent. Product will stain clothing but can be removed from skin with a mild cleaner. If clothing becomes contaminated, do not allow to dry and wash immediately.

5. Handling & Storage

Store in a cool, dry place. This product can be used after freezing once it has completely thawed.

Is this product safe to use around grass, plants, etc.?

Yes, this product is water-based and will not harm grass or plants. However, we do not recommend applying it directly to these areas. If overspray occurs, simply rinse off the excess sealer from the grass and plants with water.
Can this be used on rubber mulch?

Yes, it can be used on rubber mulch. However, rubber mulch may require heavier and more frequent coats for the sealer to adhere properly.
Can I drive on the surface after applying DOMINATOR Mulch Anchor?

No, DOMINATOR Mulch Anchor is not designed to hold surfaces firmly enough to withstand driving or heavy traffic.
Can this product be used on pea gravel?

Yes! For small pea gravel, we recommend applying 2 coats. Refer to our chart for more details on coverage rates and application guidelines.
