WHY SHOULD I SEAL MY SURFACE?
Don’t spend weekends power washing! Keep your hardscape surface clean after a thorough pressure washing by sealing it with an EASY TO APPLY and LONG LASTING, sealer. Seal your driveway, patio, tiles, retaining wall, or your garage floor with this commercial grade sealer. It protects the surface from the UV rays, stains, and freeze-thaw (and de-icing) damage. AQUA-X sealers create a moisture barrier and will allow the water to bead on the top rather than penetrating into your surface. After you seal your surface, it makes future maintenance much easier. Pressure wash the surface to ensure all pollen, dirt, or any other build-up from weather is no longer present. Once sealed, your surface is protected for up to 5 years before having to reseal. Now that is a lot of saved time!

- The sprayer will help distribute the product more evenly on the surface. Any sprayer will work for our products, although high pressure sprayers will allow higher coverage rates.
- The roller should be used to back-roll any puddles or drips, and to smooth the sealer in textured areas. If you’ve re-sanded the paver joints, ensure that the sand is 1/8” below the top of the paver surface to avoid pulling it up on the roller.
- The extension pole will be used to attach to the roller handle and roller nap. This will allow you to roll onto the surface without bending over.
- The tape will be used to secure the protective paper or plastic on areas that you don't want the sealer to enhance, such as your doors, garage door, garden, etc.
- The protective paper (plastic or paper) will be used to block off the areas where you don't want sealer to be applied.
HOW DO I APPLY AQUA-X SEALERS?
Generally, apply one coat of sealer to surfaces with a sprayer with the appropriate spray pattern for the project. If product puddles or drips on the surface, back-roll to smooth out excess product for even coverage. DO NOT FLOODCOAT. Prior to application, the surface should be completely dry for best results. The surface temperature should be between 50-120° F (10-49° C), and it should be maintained for 48 hours from the start of application. Do not apply below 40°F (4°C) or above 95°F (35°C). See Technical Data Sheets, our AQUA-X 11 How-To page and our application videos on our website. Always test using the product to ensure suitability, the desired results prior to full application, and for the application coverage rate. Use the same preparation, equipment and conditions expected during the entire application. Do not let the product freeze; and dispose of properly if it is allowed to freeze. Remove oil and other fluids from the sealed surface as soon as possible using a mild cleaning agent.
