Ordered 2 samples of product. I got the color enhancing semi gloss and matte. Applied it to 4 pavers. 2 of the pavers I did 1 coat and s the other 2 I applied 2 coats. After 2 days, both sets were almost as light as they were before I applied the sealer. Oh they had a little shine on them, but the idea was to make them look like they were wet and darker (like the website photos). Trust me, there was a light shade difference, but that was all.
Achieving the "wet look" or color enhancement is dependent on the color of the pavers, the age of the pavers, and what chemicals have been used on them previously. Light pavers will generally not achieve much of a color change. You can put water on the paver to get an idea of how dark the paver will get with a color enhancing sealer. Older pavers sometimes have lost much of their original color. Most of the time, you can make older pavers look much better with a color enhancing sealer, but it really depends on the paver itself. This is why we offer the trial sizes of our products so you can make sure you're getting the results you want before committing to a big project.
