Installing the new and improved DOMINATOR Polymeric Sand is as easy as Sweep, Activate & Go! We've collected some of the top DOs and DON'Ts to help make your job even easier.

DON'Ts

DO #1

Use the Right Tools

  • Push Broom
  • Hand Tamper or Compactor
  • Leaf Blower
  • Hose with Spray Nozzle

DON'T #1

Don't apply DOMINATOR Polymeric Sand if the paver surface is damp or wet.

  • Don't use if RAIN is expected within 12 hours.

Use the "Shower" setting on your hose's spray nozzle

DON'T #2

Don’t Over Water!

DO #3

Make sure your pavers have proper drainage

DON'T #3

Not for use on constantly wet or submerged surfaces.

DO #4

Use DOMINATOR Polymeric Sand to stabilize paver joints between 1/8" and 4" wide, with a depth of at least 1 ½"

DON'T #4

Don't forget to remove prior paver sand from joints if this is a re-sanding project.

DO #5

Fill the joints up to about 1/8" below the top of pavers (or 3 mm) 

DON'T #5

Avoid sweeping the product over long distances, so that its integrity is preserved.
